JZ-CMS8N is a new kind of non-polar adsorbent, designed for the enrichment of nitrogen from air, and has a high adsorption capacity from oxygen. With its characteristic of high efficiency, low air consumption and high purity nitrogen capacity, JZ-CMS8N is a material containing tiny pores of a precise and uniform size that is used as an adsorbent for gases.
When the pressure is high enough, the oxygen molecules, which pass through the pores of CMS much faster than the nitrogen molecules, are adsorbed, while the coming out nitrogen molecules will be enriched in gas phase. The enriched oxygen air, adsorbed by the CMS, will be released by reducing the pressure. Then the CMS is regenerated and ready for another cycle of producing nitrogen enriched air.
Performance Highlight: For one ton of CMS8N, we can get 280 m³ of Nitrogen with purity 99.5% per hour under same working condition.

Working Principle & Application
Used to separate N2 and O2 in the air in the PSA system. Nitrogen generator use carbon molecular sieve (CMS) as adsorbent. Usually use two adsorption towers in parallel, control the inlet pneumatic valve automatically operated by the inlet PLC, alternately pressurized adsorption and decompressing regeneration, complete nitrogen and oxygen separation, to obtain the required high purity nitrogen.

Frequently Asked Questions
QWhat is JZ-CMS8N and what is its primary function?
JZ-CMS8N is a non-polar carbon molecular sieve (CMS) designed for the enrichment of nitrogen from air. It features precise, uniform pores that adsorb oxygen molecules under pressure, allowing high-purity nitrogen to be separated and collected.
QWhat is the nitrogen productivity rate of JZ-CMS8N?
Under standard working conditions, one ton of JZ-CMS8N can produce 280 m³ of Nitrogen per hour at a purity level of 99.5%. At higher purities like 99.999%, the productivity rate is 90 Nm³/h.t.
QHow does the adsorption process separate nitrogen and oxygen?
In a pressurized PSA system, oxygen molecules pass through the pores of the carbon molecular sieve much faster than nitrogen molecules and are adsorbed. The remaining nitrogen molecules continue through to become enriched in the gas phase. Decreasing the pressure releases the adsorbed oxygen, regenerating the CMS for the next cycle.
QWhat are the main physical properties of JZ-CMS8N?
JZ-CMS8N has a diameter size of 1.0 mm, a bulk density range of 620-700 g/L, and a crush strength of ≥40 N/Piece.
QHow should JZ-CMS8N be stored and packaged?
As an active desiccant, it must be kept in dry conditions and stored in air-proof, sealed packaging to prevent exposure to open air. It is packaged in 20kg, 40kg, and 137kg plastic drums.
